This initiative takes place in neighborhoods across the country, encouraging residents to engage with their community and discuss public safety and crime prevention. City leaders participate annually to connect communities with local government and first responders and to educate residents about the City's efforts to build safer, stronger neighborhoods.

The Albuquerque Museum has announced "Broken Boxes: A Decade of Art, Action, and Dialogue," an exhibition running from September 7, 2024, to March 2, 2025. Curated by Ginger Dunnill and Josie Lopez, the exhibition will feature large-scale installations, sculptures, videos, and a comprehensive programming lineup that celebrates the contributions of 23 artists who have been part of Dunnill's Broken Boxes podcast.
