New alliance formed to support manufactured home owners in New Mexico

The Land of Enchantment Manufactured Home Owners Alliance (LEMHOA) has been established as a statewide non-profit organization in New Mexico. The group aims to advocate for the rights and welfare of manufactured home owners across the state. This initiative comes amid increasing demand for affordable housing and the unique challenges faced by residents in these communities.

Joanne DeMichele, president of LEMHOA, said, "Manufactured home owners are an essential part of New Mexico’s housing landscape, yet too often their concerns go unheard." She emphasized that the alliance's purpose is to amplify these voices and work towards equitable treatment and stable communities.

The mission of LEMHOA is to empower and organize manufactured home owners through education, community engagement, and legislative action. The organization seeks to protect homeowners' rights, promote safe communities, and ensure housing justice.
