The Albuquerque Police Department is collaborating with New Mexicans to Prevent Gun Violence (NMPGV), the Isotopes, New Mexico Lobos, and New Mexico United Soccer for a Gun Buyback Event. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at APD’s University Substation located at 1009 Bradbury Dr. S.E.

Water outage planned for parts of Las Cruces on August 13

UNM professors receive NSF award for conference on anthropology's approach to disability

University of New Mexico Associate Professor of Anthropology Siobhán Cully (previously Mattison) and Assistant Professor of Anthropology Ian Wallace, along with University of California, Santa Cruz Associate Professor of Anthropology Megan Moodie, have been awarded a prestigious National Science Foundation conference award to bring together scholars to advance knowledge of disability in Anthropology.
