Tutors are currently being sought for Atrisco and Whittier elementary schools, with a particular need at Whittier. The kindergarten session at Whittier runs from 9:05 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the first-grade session from 10:35 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. Tutors have the option to participate in one or both sessions.

New tutors will undergo training that lasts about two hours at the sites. This process involves shadowing an experienced tutor and then engaging in a sit-down training session with the site coordinator.
