The University of New Mexico is set to enhance the fan experience at University Stadium with a new video board. This development comes as Lobo Athletics concludes a successful year, securing more Mountain West championships than any other school in the conference. UNM also ranked as the top Group of Five institution in the Learfield Directors’ Cup standings.
The initiative aims to sustain this success by improving both the football program and the stadium environment for students, alumni, families, and the community. The project is supported by an $11 million capital outlay appropriation from state leadership and Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham.
"This investment is about more than just football — it’s about building a place that brings people together, showcases the pride of our state, and serves our community and the great state of New Mexico for years to come," said UNM Athletics.
