The State Bar of New Mexico held its Annual Awards Presentation during the Annual Meeting on October 25, 2024. These awards honor individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the State Bar or the legal profession over the past year.

This year, the American Indian Law Center Pre-Law Summer Institute (PLSI) Judicial Clerkship Committee was recognized with the Outstanding Legal Organization Award. Rodina Cave Parnall, Executive Director of the American Indian Law Center, expressed hope that "the Committee’s work will help the state, tribal, and federal benches better reflect the populations in their jurisdictions."

The members of the PLSI Judicial Clerkship Committee include Lydia Locklear as Chair; Kateri Eisenberg as Secretary; and members Alma Buena, Jens Camp, Rodina Cave Parnall, Tim Devine, Joaquin Gallegos, Alexander Mallory, Doreen McPaul, Justice Raquel Montoya-Lewis, and Justice Roshanna Toya.
