Los Alamos National Laboratory has announced new research suggesting that fission may contribute to the formation of heavy elements in the cosmos. Scientists, after analyzing data on various elements present in ancient stars, have identified a potential fission signature. This suggests that nature could generate superheavy nuclei.


Sandia economist named energy association fellow

Sandia National Laboratories recently announced that Peter Kobos, a renowned economist and managerial figure within the institution, has been selected as a senior fellow of the United States Association for Energy Economics (USAEE). UNM Facilities Management names new Senior Associate Director

The University of New Mexico (UNM) has announced the appointment of Richard Henrard as the senior associate director of UNM Facilities Management (FM). Prior to this role, Henrard served as the Engineering Services - Institutional Project Delivery (ES-IPD) Team Lead and worked at Los Alamos National Labs (LANL) in New Mexico.


ASEE Hall of Fame welcomes UNM Engineering Dean

NMSU astronomy professor earns NASA research fellowship
