The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) Chairman, Steve Pearce, has released a statement following the 2024 General Election results. In his message, Pearce expressed gratitude to the Republican candidates who participated in the election and acknowledged their efforts in running competitive races. He also extended thanks to the volunteers and RPNM staff for their dedication and hard work.

Pearce highlighted the contributions of the RPNM staff, stating, "I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to our exceptional RPNM staff, who gave 100% of their effort every day to help organize our counties, provide training, and establish our statewide Election Integrity and Get Out The Vote Teams." He noted that on Election Day, these teams addressed voter concerns effectively.

The statement congratulated New Mexico House and Senate Republicans for defending their seats and expanding their caucuses. Pearce remarked on what he described as an extraordinary turnout from various demographic groups: "What we witnessed was extraordinary: record turnout from Hispanics, women, young voters, minority groups, and former Democrats for Republicans."

He further commented on a shift toward shared values in traditionally blue states like New Mexico. Pearce celebrated President Donald J. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance's victory in both the electoral vote and popular vote.

In closing his statement, Pearce emphasized the importance of voter participation: "Finally, we are immensely thankful to every voter who turned out to make their voices heard." He expressed optimism about America's future under Republican leadership.
