On July 15, Kirtland Credit Union celebrated the opening of its MaxQ branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Kirtland Air Force Base. The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce joined in the celebration of this new branch.
The MaxQ branch is situated on a modern 70-acre civilian campus at 4023 Ranger Road SE. This facility replaces the Gibson branch, which will remain open for safety deposit transitions until the end of the year. It marks Kirtland Credit Union's first new construction branch in nearly two decades.
Kirtland Federal Credit Union, established in 1958, operates on principles including community, excellence, innovation, trust, and diversity. The Chamber expressed congratulations to Kirtland CU on its new branch and acknowledged its support as a member. Matt Rarden, President and CEO of Kirtland CU and a member of the Chamber's Board of Directors, was also recognized.
