The Santa Fe County Public Works Department has announced upcoming construction activities on several roadways as part of its ongoing county-wide roadway revitalization project.

Paving on Bonanza Creek Road (CR-45) is nearing completion. Final steps, including pavement striping and new signage installation, are expected soon. Temporary reflective lane delineators have been placed to assist with traffic flow.

Construction on Fin Del Sendero is scheduled to begin the week of September 16-20, 2024, weather permitting. This phase will involve roadway pulverization, base course application, and asphalt pavement installation between Camino La Tierra and Vista Serena. The project is anticipated to take less than two weeks to complete.

Limited work on Camino De Jacobo will also start the week of September 16-20, 2024. This phase will focus on asphalt crack sealing and manhole adjustments, with paving activities planned for a later date.

To ensure the safety of residents and workers, temporary lane closures will be in effect, but traffic will be able to proceed through work zones. Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists should expect minor delays and plan for extra travel time when navigating detours and work areas.

Further updates and project details will be provided as construction progresses.
