Notice is hereby given that the Civilian Police Oversight Advisory Board (CPOAB) will hold a public hearing on September 12, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. during their regular monthly meeting in the Vincent E. Griego Chambers, Basement level of the City of Albuquerque Government Center, at One Civic Plaza NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
The CPOAB will consider, discuss, and potentially take action on the proposed CPOAB Policies and Procedures.
The proposed policies and procedures will be available on the City Clerk’s website, posted in the lobby of City Hall at One Civic Plaza NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102; on the Civilian Police Oversight Agency website events page at https://www.cabq.gov/cpoa/news/notice-of-proposed-rulemaking-civilian-police-oversight-agency; and at the Civilian Police Oversight Agency (CPOA) office located at Plaza Del Building, 600 Second Street NW, 8th Floor, Room 813, Albuquerque, NM 87102 during regular business hours two weeks before the public meeting date.
Public comment on the proposed policies and procedures will be accepted in person and in written form via email through 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Submissions for public comment can be emailed directly to [email protected] with "Public Comment: Proposed CPOAB Policies and Procedures" as the subject line. These comments will automatically be distributed to all CPOAB members for consideration.
