The New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC) will host a Legislative BASH (Business and Social Hour) in Albuquerque from 5 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 19 at Revel Entertainment.

According to a press release, the informative event will feature keynote speakers including Jonathan Williams, chief economist and executive vice president of policy at American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and the co-author of "Rich States Poor States", and recently retired Congresswoman Yvette Herrell. Food will be provided for all BASH attendees by Tomasita’s as well as a cash bar.

“This is a great opportunity for Albuquerque residents to learn about the new laws that are being considered in this legislative session and understand how these laws could affect them, if passed,” NMBC President Carla Sonntag said in the press release. “It’s important for New Mexicans to really understand what is happening and how they can easily get involved to voice their opinion about legislation under consideration.”

Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Seating is limited so early registration is recommended.

Sponsors for the BASH include Revel Entertainment, New Mexico Restaurant Association, "New Mexico Stockman Magazine" and Tomasita’s.

A listing of sponsorship opportunities can be found online. Visitors can get more information by contacting the NMBC at 505-836-4223 or by email at nmbiz@nmbizcoalition.org.
