The ruling class are destroying New Mexico

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

In the past several months I have posted articles with one overriding theme, “Loss of Freedom”. It seems like every day we wake up and find that a freedom we took for granted has disappeared.  Choices we used to make for ourselves are now made by a government bureaucrat.  Ask someone of the younger generation, what is your American Dream?  The answer, or more importantly, the non-answer, will surprise you.

Ask the younger generation in New Mexico if they plan to build their careers, their homes and raise a family in New Mexico.  Again, the answer, well, let’s just say it is not what you want to hear, especially if you want to see a lot of your grandchildren.

There is an old saying “There is nothing new under the sun”.  The simple fact is that human nature has not changed.  There has always been and always will be a class of people who think they are better, smarter and have a clearer vision of the future, than the average person.  In short, they are meant to rule and everyone else is meant to sit down and shut up!

"There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.”  Daniel Webster

At the beginning of this country the colonies were ruled by the dictates of King George and the aristocrats in Parliament. At this time in history there was, what we today would call a man of vision, John Locke.   John Locke was one of the first men to advance the idea of “government by the consent of the governed”. Our founding fathers studied the works of John Locke and based many of our founding documents on his political thought.

America was the first country in the world to build a government around the phrase “We The People” The Declaration of Independence clearly states: “That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed”

How much meaning does that statement have in modern day New Mexico?

A thousand-page article could be written about the historical examples of struggles people have faced against the ruling class, but the important point is this:

The course that New Mexico is now on is destined to end in disaster!

Unless the ruling class in New Mexico changes course and considered the needs of honest citizens above those of the criminals, the middle class in New Mexico will disappear.  Just look at the feudal society that now exists in California.  The middle class has left the state in droves!

The overriding problem in New Mexico, especially Albuquerque is CRIME.  Yet the ruling class, the governor and the legislature concentrated on what?

Legalize marijuana.

Remove all restrictions to abortion.

Legalize euthanasia.

Why is our present ruling class concentrating on death and substance that alter the mind?

The Governor refuses to give up her emergency, Dictatorial, powers!

The legislator refuses to remove the Governor’s ability to extend it every thirty days!

The Governor refuses to protect the southern border!

The Mayor of Albuquerque refuses to follow immigration law!

The DA of Bernalillo County refuses to prosecute criminals

It is fascinating that since this is an election year, suddenly, the ruling class is holding town halls on crime.

The message is clear.  Honest law-abiding citizens of New Mexico sit down, shut up and do what your betters tell you to do!

Bottom Line:  People are afraid to leave her homes at night and there are parts of Albuquerque that people will not go to even during the day!

The average citizen has lost the freedom of simply going about the day-to-day business of living!
