A robot called "Breezy One" has been responsible for keeping St. Mary’s Catholic Church clean during the pandemic.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Albuquerque, has relied on the skills of the robot to clean their school in order to keep class in session during the pandemic, according to KRQE. A tech company, Build with Robots, created Breezy One and a number of other robots that are designed to revolutionize the routine of cleaning for businesses everywhere.
The company said on their website, "When people work with Build With Robots, their jobs become safer and less repetitive. By reducing drudgery and eliminating risk we can elevate our partners’ role."
As part of the robot's cleaning tasks, Breezy One is responsible for releasing a cleaning fog into the air, which then settles onto surfaces around the school, keeping the school clean and teachers and students safe. According to KRQE, it takes roughly 30 seconds to clean a classroom in a manner more efficient and effective than a janitor would be able to while using a green-clean certified fog.
Through the power of Breezy One, St. Mary’s has been able to ensure that everyone is able to attend in-person learning, while continuing to make sure that students can be present and safe in the classroom.
