The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team ended its 2025 season with a win against Cameron University, securing a 3-1 victory (26-24, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21) at Aggie Gymnasium in Lawton, Oklahoma. This result brought the Greyhounds' final record to 5-24 overall and 2-15 in Lone Star Conference play.
Sophia Valdez, a junior outside hitter for ENMU, led her team with 18 kills and added three service aces, one block assist, and 15 digs. Freshman Addison Bartlett also contributed significantly with 13 kills on a .367 hitting percentage and four digs.
Amya Speller had an efficient performance for the Greyhounds with 14 kills on a .542 hitting efficiency. She also recorded two service aces, five block assists, and one solo block. Senior defensive specialist Imahni Brown concluded her collegiate career by leading all players with 25 digs.
Setters Catalina Gutierrez and Violeta Flores directed the offense for ENMU. Gutierrez finished with 24 assists while Flores provided 25 assists along with six digs.
For Cameron University, Jennifer Valdez registered eight kills and four digs. Anastasija Andelic contributed ten kills and twelve digs.
ENMU head coach Karli Bustos said: "I'm incredibly proud of how our girls stepped up and played with tremendous energy in this final match. They showed resilience and determination all season, and it was rewarding to see them put everything together today. The way they fought for every point demonstrates the character of this team and gives us something positive to build on for the offseason."
Eastern New Mexico held advantages over Cameron at the service line (eight aces to six), in total digs (86 to 78), and in blocks (14 to nine). The contest included frequent momentum shifts with 24 tie scores and twelve lead changes across four sets. After winning the first two sets, ENMU lost the third but secured victory by taking the fourth set.
Cameron University completed its season with a record of seven wins and twenty-three losses overall, including three wins in conference play.
