Western New Mexico University Women’s Basketball signs two Albuquerque standouts

Western New Mexico University Women's Basketball has announced the signing of two new players, Hope Giddings and Malia Mose, both from Albuquerque. Giddings comes to the Mustangs from Sandia High School, while Mose joins from Cleveland High School.

Giddings is described as a guard who brings athleticism and energy to the team's perimeter. According to the university, "Known for her defensive intensity and ability to score from multiple levels, she adds depth to the Mustang backcourt and versatility to the rotation."

Mose will join as a point guard. The announcement states, "Mose, a skilled point guard, is a proven floor general with excellent court vision and leadership. Her quickness and decision-making make her a strong fit for the Mustangs' up-tempo style of play."

Both athletes are expected to contribute to the program in the upcoming season.
