The Mustangs women's tennis team wrapped up their participation in the Aggie Invite held in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The event saw notable performances from Lucia Carmena and Eva Guta in singles matches. Carmena secured a straight-sets victory with scores of 6–3, 6–3. Meanwhile, Guta triumphed in a three-set match, finishing 7–6(1), 4–6, 6–1.
Despite strong efforts, Josefina Bailetti and Xaviera Melgar were unable to secure wins. Bailetti lost her match with scores of 3–6, 1–6, while Melgar was defeated after enduring lengthy rallies, ending at 2–6, 1–6.
The tournament concluded the Aggie Invite for the Mustangs. They are scheduled to return to New Mexico State next January.
