Western New Mexico women's golf ties for fifth at Dennis Rose Intercollegiate

The Western New Mexico University Women's Golf team concluded their fall season with a tie for fifth place at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate in Waikoloa, Hawaii. The event, held on October 21, featured nine teams. The Mustangs finished with a combined score of 315-330 for a total of +85 over two rounds.

Nicole Jasso led the team, shooting an 80 in the second round and a 78 in the first for a total of +18, which placed her tied for 12th individually. Alexandria Klemke followed with scores of 79 and 81 (+20), finishing tied for 18th place. Falyn Lackey posted scores of 78 and 84 (+22), tying for 22nd place.

Corynn Speer finished with an 85 in the second round and an 80 in the first (+25), tying for 29th place. Erin Turner rounded out the lineup with a final round score of 98 (+28), finishing in 45th place with a +44 total.

"This brings an end to the fall season for the Lady Mustangs as they will now enter the offseason. They will begin their spring season in Los Angeles, CA for the LA Spring Kickoff, February 2nd."
