Western New Mexico Women's Golf finishes 19th at NCAA West Regional Preview

The Western New Mexico University Women's Golf team completed their participation in the NCAA Division II Regional Preview on October 14 at Pueblo Country Club, finishing in 19th place. The Lady Mustangs improved by one position with a two-round team score of 324-325, totaling +81.

Corynn Speer led the team with a second round score of 77 (+6), adding to her first round score of 78, resulting in a +13 total. This performance moved her up six spots to tie for 30th out of 110 players. Alexandria Klemke followed with consistent rounds of 81, finishing tied for 71st with a +20 total. Falyn Lackey posted scores of 82 in both rounds, tying for 79th at +22.

Nicole Jasso concluded the tournament with scores of 83 and 85, placing her at +26 and tied for 95th. Erin Turner rounded out the team's efforts with an overall score of +35, securing the 104th position.

The Lady Mustangs are set to compete next at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate in Waikoloa, Hawaii on October 20 at Waikoloa Beach Golf Club.
