Western New Mexico women’s golf places twentieth at NCAA West Regional Preview

The Western New Mexico University women's golf team concluded their participation in the NCAA Division II Regional Preview at Pueblo Country Club on October 14, finishing in twentieth place. The team posted scores of 324 and 325 over two rounds, resulting in a total score of +81.

Corynn Speer led the Mustangs with rounds of 78 and 77, finishing at +13 overall and tying for 30th out of 110 players. Alexandria Klemke followed with identical rounds of 81 to finish tied for 71st at +20. Falyn Lackey recorded scores of 82 in both rounds to tie for 79th at +22.

Nicole Jasso completed the tournament with scores of 83 and 85, ending tied for 95th at +26. Erin Turner rounded out the lineup, posting an 88 in the final round to finish at +35 in 104th place.

The Lady Mustangs will conclude their fall season by competing in the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate on October 20 at Waikoloa Beach Golf Club in Hawaii.
