Western New Mexico University's Men's Cross Country team placed 19th at the Old Glory Gallop, an event hosted by Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas.
Samuel Ketchum was the top performer for the Mustangs, finishing with a time of 25:20.18 and securing 58th place. Michael Castorena finished next for the team with a time of 25:48.96, placing 88th. Cameron Shorty completed the race in 25:52.55, followed by Morgan Haan who finished at 26:44.37.
Other runners included Ameen Ibrahim with a time of 27:54.16, Noah Bugayong at 28:08.14, and Dax Rios who rounded out the team's performance with a time of 28:12.58.
The Mustangs are preparing for their next competition at the Lone Star Conference meet scheduled to take place in Richardson, Texas on October 25, 2025.
