Western New Mexico men's golf finishes 16th at National Fall Preview

The Western New Mexico University men's golf team concluded the National Fall Preview at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada, finishing 16th overall. The team posted a final round score of 299, bringing their three-round total to 883, which is 19 over par.

Oscar Feschuk led the Mustangs with a consistent performance, recording rounds of 70, 71, and 71 to finish four under par and tied for 23rd place. Jonty Butcher followed with rounds of 74, 73, and 72, ending three over par and tying for 54th.

Jacob Alcorta finished with scores of 76, 70, and 77 to tie for 70th place. Jayden Schmitz completed the tournament tied for 85th after shooting rounds of 75, 76, and 79. Tyler Jackson rounded out the team’s lineup with scores of 86, 75, and 81, finishing tied for 92nd.

The Mustangs will prepare for their next event at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite hosted by West Texas A&M in Amarillo, Texas, on October 14.
