The Albuquerque Isotopes have announced that the Cosmic Takeover Tour will be making a stop at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park in 2026. The event, known as Cosmic Baseball, offers a glow-in-the-dark version of traditional baseball and previously sold out its 2025 tour.
Cosmic Baseball has gained attention from national media outlets such as The Today Show, ABC News, Sports Illustrated, and MLB Network for its unique approach to the sport. The event features teams called the Chili Peppers and Glow Mojis playing under black lights with neon uniforms and UV-reactive baseballs. Entertainment is also part of the experience.
According to organizers, "Cosmic Baseball is flipping the sport on its head with an electrifying, glow-in-the-dark transformation. Fans can watch the Chili Peppers and Glow Mojis take the field under black light in a jaw-dropping spectacle that’s part baseball, part neon-fueled party, and 100% unforgettable. Neon uniforms, UV-reactive baseballs, and electrifying entertainment are all things fans can expect at the event in 2026."
