On September 11, 2025, the University of New Mexico School of Law hosted an event to recognize four faculty members for their recent book publications. The Faculty Book Celebration took place in the School of Law Forum and included conversations and refreshments as attendees learned about the inspiration behind each book.
The honored faculty were Professor Emeritus Christian G. Fritz, Professor Joshua E. Kastenberg, Professor Nathalie Martin, and Professor Jennifer Moore. Their works reflect a range of legal scholarship produced at UNM.
The books featured during the celebration include "Monitoring American Federalism: The History of State Legislative Resistance" by Christian G. Fritz; "Goldwater v. Carter: Foreign Policy, China, and the Resurgence of Executive Branch Primacy" by Joshua E. Kastenberg; "The Inspired Retirement: Purpose and Passion in Your Next Adventure" by Nathalie Martin; and "Women’s Work: Building Peace in War-Affected Communities of Uganda and Sierra Leone" by Jennifer Moore.
