New Mexico United wins 4-0 at home to move up to third in Western Conference

New Mexico United secured a 4-0 win at home on Saturday, moving into third place in the USL Championship’s Western Conference. The match, played at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park, drew 7,347 fans.

The team took an early lead in the fifth minute when midfielder Zico Bailey scored from 55 yards out. Chris Gloster added a second goal in the 20th minute by finishing a rebound inside the box.

In the second half, Greg Hurst scored United’s third goal with a header from a Dayonn Harris corner in the 70th minute. Valentin Noël completed the scoring during stoppage time after breaking free on a counterattack.
