Eastern New Mexico University's men's cross country team has been ranked 13th in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) preseason poll for the upcoming 2025 season. The poll, released by the LSC, features 14 teams.

"It's a good feeling to get back to competition," said assistant coach Keyanah Browning. "I believe this team will continue to grow and improve each practice and each meet."

West Texas A&M is favored to win the conference, receiving all 27 first-place votes and totaling 419 points. The rest of the top five includes DBU with 343 points, Western New Mexico at 342, St. Edward's with 336, and Texas A&M International at 321.

This season marks the debut of UT Dallas as a new member of the conference. The Comets are predicted to finish just ahead of Eastern New Mexico in the standings.

Dallas Baptist will host the LSC cross country championship at AP Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas.

Two athletes from Eastern New Mexico, Thomas Aerdts and Eloy Serrano Borrego, have been named as runners to watch for this season.

The Greyhounds' season starts on September 5 at the Aggie Duels in Lawton, Oklahoma.
