New Mexico United secured a 2-2 draw against Las Vegas Lights FC, ending a multi-match losing streak and earning their first point since June in their 100th home game at The Lab.

According to ESPN 101.7 "THE TEAM," New Mexico United made an early impact with Valentin Noël scoring in the 5th minute. Following an unusual play by Las Vegas goalkeeper Raiko Arozarena, Greg Hurst quickly took a throw-in, finding Noël who scored from nearly 25 yards out. This goal gave United a 1-0 lead.

The second half saw challenges for United as Talen Maples, who had come on as a substitute, received two yellow cards in quick succession, reducing the team to ten men. Despite this setback and falling behind 2-1 after Nighte Pickering's goal in the 74th minute, United continued to press forward.

In the 87th minute, Zico Bailey's pass found Thomas Amang, who scored the equalizer against Arozarena. This goal sparked celebrations among the home crowd.

The match also marked New Mexico United's 100th home game, highlighting its significance in the USL and Albuquerque community. During halftime, the club honored Chris Wehan with a video tribute showcasing his contributions to the team.
