Before joining WNMU, she worked for seven years at Arcadia High School in Phoenix, Arizona as a mathematics teacher, Head Volleyball Coach, and Head Beach Volleyball Coach. Her leadership led teams to several playoff runs and Final Four appearances, including earning the 2022 4A State Runner-Up title, a Region Championship for indoor volleyball, and a Section Championship in beach volleyball. She was recognized as Volleyball Region Coach of the Year in 2022 and Beach Volleyball Section Coach of the Year for the 2019 and 2023 seasons.

She also held roles as Director of Volleyball Operations and Assistant Beach Volleyball Coach. At ASU, Bunker contributed to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances by recruiting athletes nationally and internationally while supporting their development.
She added: "It's a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated team of coaches and staff, and I'm eager to help elevate Mustang Athletics through a strong focus on academic excellence and holistic development."
