Albuquerque Isotopes first baseman Keston Hiura has been named Pacific Coast League Player of the Week for July 28 to August 3, according to an announcement from Major League Baseball.

Hiura played in all six games of the team's recent series against Sacramento, where he went 9-for-22 at the plate. His performance included three doubles, a triple, three home runs, and five runs batted in. Hiura also recorded four consecutive multi-hit games for the first time this season.

Over the week, Hiura led the Pacific Coast League in total bases with 23, as well as in slugging percentage at 1.045 and OPS at 1.564. He tied for most home runs during that period alongside Bryce Eldridge of Sacramento and Leody Taveras of Tacoma.

"This is Hiura’s third Player of the Week honor in his professional career, receiving the accolade with the Milwaukee Brewers (National League: July 15-21, 2019) and Salt Lake Bees (PCL: June 24-30, 2024). During the stretch last year, Hiura belted six home runs in a four-game stretch for the Bees at Isotopes Park."

Hiura becomes the second Albuquerque player this season to receive Player of the Week recognition. Earlier this year, Ryan Ritter earned back-to-back weekly honors in May.

The Isotopes will return to play on Tuesday with a seven-game home series against Round Rock Express beginning at 6:35 pm. Tickets are available through their website or at Isotopes Park Box Office.
