The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced the recipients of the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court, recognizing academic achievement among men's college basketball teams and players. Five players from the Cowboys were included in this year's Honors Court. The criteria for selection include being a junior, senior, or graduate student with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year.
The NABC's academic awards are given annually to honor teams and athletes across all levels of college basketball. Those from NMHU who earned this recognition are Derick Chavez, Ja'Kwon Hill, Malik Barton, Nathan Hasberry, and TJ Sanchez.
