Kaufman discusses resilient energy economies at UNM lecture

The University of New Mexico's Just Transition Grand Challenge recently hosted Dr. Noah Kaufman for a lecture as part of its speaker series. Dr. Kaufman is the co-chair of the Resilient Energy Economies Initiative, which funds research projects to aid fossil fuel-dependent communities in transitioning economically.

Dr. Kaufman's background includes serving as an economic advisor on climate issues during both the Biden and Obama administrations. He is currently a Senior Research Scholar at Columbia University's Center on Global Energy Policy.
