Aja N. Brooks, Esq., was sworn in as the State Bar's 139th President. Her appointment marks a significant milestone as she becomes the first Black President of the State Bar of New Mexico. Brooks brings extensive experience in the legal field to her new leadership role.

In addition to Brooks' historic appointment, Allison H. Block Chavez, Esq., assumed the position of President-Elect, and Lucy H. Sinkular, Esq., took on the role of Secretary-Treasurer for the organization.
