Registration is now open for the 2024 FOG Continuing Education Seminar. The event, titled “Unlocking Access: A Deep Dive into New Mexico’s Open Government Laws,” will take place on November 1, 2024, in Albuquerque at the offices of the New Mexico Bar Association located at 5121 Masthead St. NE.

Participants attending the seminar will earn a total of 6.5 credits, which includes one ethics credit. The cost to attend is $295 for non-NMFOG members and $225 for members. Thanks to a grant from the New Mexico News Fund, the first 20 working journalists who register can attend free of charge. Additionally, there is a hybrid option available for those unable to attend in person.

The session leaders for this seminar include Former Justices Barbara Vigil and Richard Bosson, Former Court of Appeals Judge Michael Bustamante, along with Greg Williams, Charles Peifer, Charles Purcell, Daniel Yohalem, and Amanda Lavine.
