Las Cruces, New Mexico – The Las Cruces Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the shooting of a 52-year-old man.
The Crime Stoppers of Las Cruces-Doña Ana County is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the identification of those responsible for the incident.
On July 17, 2024, at approximately 2:00 pm, police officers responded to a vehicular crash on the 900 block of Melendres. The vehicle had traversed multiple yards before coming to a stop with the driver trapped inside. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the driver had been shot prior to the crash.
Detectives believe an unknown make or model sedan, described as having four doors and being silver or gray in color, was involved in the shooting.
