Doña Ana County will be observing the Memorial Day holiday, with most of its offices set to close on Monday, May 27. Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States, dedicated to honoring and mourning U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Despite the closure of most administrative offices, emergency services and law enforcement field operations will continue as usual. However, the administrative offices of the Detention Center, Sheriff's Office, Emergency Management, and Fire Rescue Department will not be operational during this time.

Regular operating hours for all county offices are scheduled to resume at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28.
