New Mexico State University’s Hidalgo County Cooperative Extension Service, in collaboration with other county offices, will host the Southwest Pregnancy Check Clinic in Deming, New Mexico from March 12-14. The Catron, Luna, Otero, and Sandoval County Extension offices, along with the Department of Extension Animal Sciences and Natural Resources, will also be providing support at the clinic.

According to the announcement, the clinic will take place at the Quality Inn on March 12, followed by sessions on March 13 and 14 at Blandford Farms. Savannah Daniels from NMSU Extension emphasized, "The clinic will provide producers with the opportunity to gain knowledge about their cattle’s reproduction system and the ability to palpate and track the pregnancy stages of their cows."

The program aims to educate producers about their cattle's reproductive health, with Daniels noting, "This program is designed as an awareness course for producers, not a certification." Space is limited to 20 participants, and the deadline for registration is March 8. Interested individuals can register online at https://swaipregclinic.ezregister.com.
