New Mexico State University (NMSU) has announced its plans to host the Hispanic Scholarship Fund's College Camp 2024, an event designed specifically for students in grades 6th to 12th and their families. The College Camp, which is organized by NMSU, aims to provide valuable resources and guidance for its participants.
According to a press release by NMSU, the university's Corbett Center Student Union Ballrooms will be the venue for the College Camp on March 2nd, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature presentations covering various aspects of college preparation and application, financial aid, and career transition. Breakout sessions tailored to students in different grade levels and parents will also be part of the agenda.
Tony Marin, assistant vice president for Student Affairs at NMSU said, "New Mexico State University is proud to host the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s College Camp. As one of four universities nationally selected to host the HSF College Camp, our region’s middle and high school students along with their family members will learn how to successfully prepare for the college admissions and financial aid processes."
