Casa San Ysidro's Harvest Festival is set to be Corrales' largest fall celebration, according to an announcement made by the City of Albuquerque. The two-day event, held in partnership with the Village of Corrales, aims to showcase the living traditions of New Mexico and celebrate the fall harvest. Taking place on September 30 and October 1, the festival will feature a wide range of activities, entertainment, and a renowned heritage art exhibit.

The festival schedule is packed with exciting performances and experiences for attendees. On Saturday, visitors can enjoy a performance by the Acoma Pueblo Enchantment Dancers from 10:30 a.m. to noon. This will be followed by the Heritage Artists Market from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and Spanish Guitar music by Luis Campos from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, the Acoma Pueblo Enchantment Dancers will take the stage again from 10:30 a.m. to noon, followed by the Music of New Mexico with Eli del Puerto from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. The festival will conclude with an interactive musical session by Recycle Man, who creates music using recycled objects.

Casa San Ysidro's site manager, Aaron Gardner, expressed his excitement for the festival, stating, "We're thrilled to once again participate in the annual Harvest Festival with the Village of Corrales." He added that guests can expect a variety of demonstrations from an impressive lineup of artists, as well as live entertainment.

As the largest festival in the village, Casa San Ysidro's Harvest Festival is expected to draw over 2,000 attendees to the historic adobe home. Casa San Ysidro, originally established in the 1950s as a plazuela-style rancho, now houses a vast collection of rare artifacts and serves as a testament to New Mexico's rich artistic heritage. The festival aims to reflect the state's tradition and evolution over the years, providing a unique and immersive experience for visitors.

In conclusion, Casa San Ysidro's Harvest Festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of New Mexico's living traditions and the fall harvest. With a diverse range of activities and entertainment, the festival is set to be Corrales' largest fall event. Attendees can look forward to engaging with art, music, and demonstrations from talented artists and performers, all within the historic setting of Casa San Ysidro.
