The Illusionists' Magic of the Holidays showcase will be performed in Albuquerque on Dec. 20 as part of a 40-city tour.

The holiday show will occur at Popejoy Hall at the University of New Mexico (UNM), according to KOB 4. It is based on a successful worldwide production that has been performed on Broadway in the U.S.

"You can expect mind-blowing, jaw-dropping magic and probably a lot more comedy than they were expecting," magician Paul Dabek said. "We took the spectacle of the Illusionist that people have sort of come to know and love over the years before and added a spoonful of holiday cheer."

The show is suitable for all ages, KOB 4 reported.

"Celebrate the holidays with the entire family at The Illusionists – Magic of the Holidays, a mind-blowing showcase featuring jaw-dropping talents of the most incredible illusionists on earth," the UNM Ticketing Services website said. "The Illusionists has shattered box office records across the globe and dazzles audiences of all ages with a powerful mix of the most outrageous and astonishing acts ever seen on stage. This non-stop show is packed with thrilling and sophisticated magic of unprecedented proportions."
