Tickets go on sale Friday for the New Mexico State Fair, which will feature a rodeo and concert series headlined by well-known country legends.

Some of the big names scheduled to perform include Dwight Yoakam, Martina McBride and Mark Chesnutt, according to a post on the State Fair’s Facebook page. The State Fair is one of the most popular events in the state and normally features some of the top artists in country music.

“There is not much else that screams ‘New Mexico State Fair’ more than our annual Rodeo/Concert Series inside Tingley Coliseum,” State Fair General Manager Dan Mourning said in a news release. "This year we have one of the most impressive lineups we’ve ever had that includes country legends: Martina McBride, Dwight Yoakam and Mark Chesnutt, bringing that old-school classic country to New Mexico. You just aren’t going to this pedigree of classic country artists anywhere else in New Mexico this Fall.”
