Sky Railway, nicknamed Santa Fe's adventure train, launched its spring season with events for people of every age.

Beginning service last December, Sky Railway operates train expeditions between Santa Fe and Lamy, New Mexico, according to KRQE. Adventures planned for the spring season include a sunset serenade, the New Mexico Ale Trail, a stargazing adventure, a history-focused adventure, a brunch train, and a speakeasy adventure. In May, the railway will feature their first Wild West outlaw-themed train.

Steve Wilson, director of entertainment for Sky Railway, said, “We can really envelop our travelers in a really unique entertainment experience that you’ll find nowhere else in the country.”

The New Mexico Ale Trail adventure features samples of some of the state's locally brewed beers, according to Sky Railway's website. Passengers are encouraged to taste the unique craft beers while observing the New Mexico landscape.

The popular Cocktails and Rails expedition is geared toward passengers who enjoy sipping unique cocktails and listening to smooth live jazz and cabaret music while being served by attendants.

Sky Railway was created by a group of local entrepreneurs who purchased the old Santa Fe Southern Railway in 2020 with a plan to revive its 18-mile excursions as entertainment and dining offerings.
