The University of New Mexico Lobos hockey team is currently undefeated at 13-0 and looks to continue its dominance, according to FOX New Mexico.

"We are a very physical team,” UNM head coach Grant Harvey said, according to KRQE News. "Even my really elite players will go bang a body up and still take the puck down the ice with finesse. So, we have this duplicitous way about ourselves where you see a lot of finesse and then you see a lot of brute force when we need to use it."

The roster is made of up of 75% players from New Mexico and Harvey said the team was "a team with no scholarships to be given and locally driven in the desert."

UNM Senior Center Jarrod Ronquillo commented that the Lobo's Hockey team "has 10 times the depth" and mentioned how much he likes watching kids develop because of the hard work they have been putting in is paying off.

Harvey and the Lobos said that they have high hopes at a title run this season.

"We were gunning to be a national threat and now we are a national threat, we are going to act like it," Harvey said, according to KRQE News. "I am gunning to take the national championship this year with this team."
