The Albuquerque Isotopes recently finished up their 2021 home schedule with a 5-2 victory over the Reno Aces, according to KRQE, during a Mariachi Night game.

Rep. Javier Martinez (D-Albuqerque) and the minor league baseball team both had some shout outs to send.

"To each and every one of you that came out to Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park this season ... thank you! Words can't express how much it meant to be able to lead this community in terms of much needed healing and happiness. ABQ, we <3 you," the Isotopes wrote in a Sept. 27 Twitter post.

"And THANK YOU, @ABQTopes. From our first game back in the spring to our last game this past Saturday, we truly enjoyed every minute of every game this season. Not having y’all in 2020 was very hard. Glad to have you back in 2021. See ya in 2022," Rep. Javier Martinez (D-Albuqerque) wrote in a Sept. 27 Twitter post.

The team finishes its season on the road against Sacramento in a five-game series.
