Get your napkins ready. A new docuseries, called Santa Fe Foods, started filming locally and is set to continue throughout October.

A press release from the New Mexico Film Office said that Santa Fe Foods will highlight world-class chefs, restaurants and food from Santa Fe, as one of the world's greatest food scenes.

“Santa Fe has been a premier tourist destination for decades - offering unique shopping, an outstanding art scene, the thrill of outdoor recreation, beautiful hotels, a rich history and culture, and world-class food. We are excited for this home-grown docuseries that will feature what makes the oldest capitol in the U.S. an inimitable and treasured place,” Amber Dodson, director of the New Mexico Film Office, said in the press release.

Santa Fe Foods, produced by Windmill Winds Entertainment, LLC, will be a six-episode showcase of places throughout not only the city of Santa Fe, but also Santa Fe County, to showcase "the rare combination of food, art, shopping, and outdoor recreation," the release said.

Directing the docuseries is Greg Zoch, who is also the executive producer. Joining Zoch in producing the show is his wife Teresa Zoch.

“Teresa and I have been lifelong enthusiasts for Santa Fe and the vibrant, immersive experiences that Santa Fe offers, not the least of which are the world class restaurants. As such, we are extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with some truly wonderful and gifted people to showcase the amazing City Different to the world,” Greg Zoch said in the release.

The show will also employ six crew members, 12 principal actors and 20 background actors in addition to featuring local experts and six local chefs, according to the release.
