Terry Wilson, a senior at the University of New Mexico, has been recognized for two separate honors this week, getting the nod as both the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week and the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week, according to a Lobos press release.

Wilson, who threw for a career-high 381 yards on 26-of-37 passing with three touchdowns, was named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in three games on Sept.13. The Manning Award Quarterback of the Week came on Sept. 16, after Wilson beat out seven other frontrunners in the Allstate Sugar Bowl's Facebook contest.

A transfer from the University of Kentucky, Wilson has helped lead the Lobos to a 2-0 start to the season, the team's first in 16 years, according to the release. He was also named the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week in 2018 while playing for UK.
