Electric Playhouse will reopen fully on June 2, after being closed for more than a year.
The VIP repoening was Friday, and included Gaming Experience: Space Recon and Immersive Dining: Space Cruise Dinner.
"We have been representing ABQ's art and tech community throughout the country for more than a decade - and now more than ever New Mexico is where everyone is talking about," John-Mark Collins, one founder of Electric Playhouse, said in the press release.
He also commented on the attention New Mexico has received for the notable technological and artistic development projects that have emerged.
"I believe the national attention we are getting is going to continue because of a strong community culture that has fostered some really great local companies, organizations, and partnerships," Collins said in the release.
Electric Playhouse will be open daily from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with the last availability at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are currently being sold and for children, seniors and the military are $15, and adult tickets are $18, the website said.
Electric Playhouse offers family-friendly 3D digital entertainment with 18 interactive areas. The immersive dining offers "a new kind of dining experience that engages all your senses by weaving together cuisine, entertainment, good company and visually immersive interactive projection-mapping," the website said.
Other special events that Electric Playhouse will be offering include Digital Yoga, Brunch in Paris and Dinner Adventures: Trouble in Paradise.
