Eastern New Mexico University's men's basketball team will face Oklahoma Christian in a home game at Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena on December 6, with tipoff scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Greyhounds are coming off their sixth consecutive win after defeating Cameron 95-69. This victory improved their season record to 6-1, marking the team's longest winning streak since the 2023-24 season. Five of those wins have been by margins of at least 13 points. The team currently ranks sixth in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) and is placed 40th nationally with a scoring margin of +14.6. Eastern New Mexico is one of only 60 NCAA Division II programs with one or fewer losses this season. The last time the Greyhounds started a season at least as well was during the 1996-97 campaign, when they won their first nine games.

In Thursday's game against Cameron, Eastern New Mexico displayed strong offensive performance, shooting 56.1% from the field and making nine three-pointers. Four players scored in double figures: Mo Austin led with 22 points and three assists, followed by Cooper Jackson (17 points), Treyvon Byrd (14), and Austin Abrams (10). Nine players contributed at least four points each. The team is ranked third in the LSC and 26th nationally for fastbreak points per game, averaging nearly 19 per contest.

Defensively, Mo Austin and Cooper Jackson are leading the conference with an average of just over three steals per game each. As a team, ENMU averages more than eleven steals per contest and allows opponents to score just under two-thirds of their shot attempts while holding them to an average of only 66 points per game. Jose Murillo leads the LSC in blocks with nearly two per outing.

Mo Austin has consistently contributed across multiple statistical categories this season. He has scored in double digits six times so far and leads his team in scoring (16.4 ppg), assists (33), and steals (22).

Oklahoma Christian arrives for Saturday's matchup holding a record of four wins and two losses but has dropped its last two games. Their offense averages almost 77 points per game with four players averaging above twelve points each. Jason Clark leads Oklahoma Christian with an average of sixteen points and nearly seven rebounds per contest; he previously played for Texas A&M-Kingsville before transferring to Oklahoma Christian as a junior. Miles Gibson has reached double-digit scoring in five straight games.

Oklahoma Christian commits few fouls—second lowest in the conference—and frequently gets to the free throw line, ranking fourth among LSC teams for free throw attempts per game while shooting just under fifty percent from the field overall.
