Eastern New Mexico University's men's basketball team extended its winning streak with a 95-69 victory over Cameron University. This marks the team's longest run of consecutive wins since the 2023-24 season.

Head coach Daven Võ commented on the performance after the conference opener, stating, "It went the way we wanted to. Our guys broke away the game on defense. Proud of our bench who brought us a surge of energy."

Four players from Eastern New Mexico scored in double figures. Sophomore guard Mo Austin led with 22 points, followed by Cooper Jackson with 17 points, Treyvon Byrd with 14 points, and Austin Abrams with 10 points.

The Greyhounds trailed for most of the first eight minutes but gained momentum through several short runs. In the second half, they outscored Cameron by 20 points and demonstrated strong shooting from three-point range.

Nine out of eleven players who participated scored multiple field goals. The bench contributed significantly, scoring 24 points. Kobe Smith was the top scorer among reserves with eight points, while freshman Mika Tangermann added seven.

Defensively, Eastern New Mexico forced 23 turnovers and matched their season high with 14 steals. Cooper Jackson recorded four steals; Mo Austin and Treyvon Byrd each had three.

Shooting efficiency was notable as the team made over half their attempts from the field and shot 60% from beyond the arc in the second half. Eight players finished with at least a 50% shooting rate for the night.

The win ties Eastern New Mexico's all-time series against Cameron at 29-29 and is their third consecutive victory over Cameron.

Treyvon Byrd acknowledged fan support after the game: "The energy of the crowd was amazing. They are the reason why we can do what we do," he said. "We like that. It pumps us up as players. It's like when Goku was like 'give us that energy.'"

Eastern New Mexico will host Oklahoma Christian on December 6 at 3 p.m., where rally towels will be given to early attendees and tickets are available online.
