New Mexico Attorney General urges claims submission in Santa Fe Plaza Spa case

The New Mexico Department of Justice is urging consumers affected by the Santa Fe Spa Center case to file claims for settlement funds. The spa, also known as Voupre Spa or SHM Group 2019, Inc., was involved in a legal case settled in August. The settlement, signed by the spa's owners and the New Mexico Department of Justice, allocates $350,000 to reimburse customers who lost money due to the business's practices.

Consumers have until February 10, 2026, to submit their claims. Claims can be filed through the department's website at https://nmdoj.gov/get-help/santa-fe-spa-claims/. The spa and its owners faced accusations in 2024 under the Unfair Practices Act for using aggressive and deceptive tactics that led to customers being charged more than agreed upon amounts.
