Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) Athletics has announced a partnership with the Veterans Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) to provide free tickets for military members and veterans to attend Greyhound sporting events. Vet Tix works with sports organizations nationwide to distribute complimentary tickets to more than 21 million active duty service members and veterans.
"We are grateful for the men and women who serve and have served our country in the line of duty," said Kevin Fite, director of athletics at ENMU. "This organization helps us give thanks to those individuals. It's not just about giving thanks on Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, or the Fourth of July, but every day."
Military personnel interested in obtaining tickets can visit www.vettix.org for more information.
ENMU is located less than 30 minutes from Cannon Air Force Base, making its athletic events accessible for active-duty members stationed nearby to enjoy games with friends and family.
Recently, an Air Force veteran named Mark used Vet Tix to attend an ENMU football game and shared feedback about his experience at the event.
